Fees & Funding

Fees & funding

Costs can vary and depend on several factors, including:

  • Support Setting (telehealth/in-home therapy, etc.)

  • Location, and travel requirements

  • Type of Support required (Private, Early Intervention, Positive Behaviour Support or Private)

We accept anyone who comes via the NDIS or private health insurance. Services can be offered in any location around Sydney; a standard travel fee is applied.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Colourful Minds is an NDIS provider.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support to people with disability, their families and carers. The scheme takes a lifetime approach, investing in people early to improve their outcomes later in life. It also exercises freedom of choice over who, how, when and where supports are received.

We accept participants that are self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed.

Private health cover

Where NDIS doesn’t fund services, benefits may be available through your private health insurer for allied health services under ancillary or extras, depending on your agreed level of cover.

It’s important to check with your private health insurer before making an appointment.

When using your cover with us, you are required to pay for your session in full upon completion and claim your benefit directly with your private health insurer.

Mental Health Care Plan

Currently, we are working towards accreditation to access rebates via the Mental Health Care Plan.

We will let all our families know when this feature becomes available.
